AirFire CO2

Historically the most recognized and researched extinguishing agent, making it highly customizable based on the risk to be protected. Although not acceptable for human-occupied spaces, it is the most effective gas for suppressing a wide range of A, B and C fire types.

Characteristics:

• Chemically inert
• Colorless and odorless
• Electrically non-conductive
• No residue left after discharge
• Easy refills locally
• Low cost for unoccupied areas

Application methods

• Total flooding application: It consists of the discharge of a certain quantity of Carbon Dioxide inside a totally closed enclosure up to the prescribed concentration.
• Local application: When the risk to be protected is relatively small compared to the volume that surrounds it, it is more effective to discharge CO2 directly onto surface fires and potential deep fires.
