PQS (ABC) Cogarsa fire extinguisher

CHARACTERISTICS:

Constructed from cold-rolled carbon steel sheet, gauge 14, this equipment has been subjected to 100% hydrostatic testing and has a chemical treatment through a phosphating process, which improves its resistance to corrosion and favors the adhesion of the covering.

The finish consists of bright red baked electrostatic powder paint, designed to offer high resistance and to pass 500-hour salt spray tests. In addition, all assemblies are made with MIG welding, guaranteeing continuous and highly durable seams.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES:

• Pivot for easy maintenance and safe recharging.
• Threaded base with height adjustment and clamping device for ceiling installation.
• UL approved bronze sprinkler , designed to release extinguishing agent automatically when sensing temperatures above or below 68°C.

APPLICATIONS:

Ideal for indoor areas in industrial and commercial environments such as buildings, warehouses, factories and maintenance workshops. It is recommended to install it at a maximum height of 2.5 meters above the object or surface to be protected.

• NOM-100-STPS-1994 : Safety – Fire extinguishers based on dry chemical powder with contained pressure – Specifications.
• NOM-045-SCFI-2000 : Measuring instruments – Pressure gauges for fire extinguishers.
• NOM-104-STPS-2001 : Extinguishing agents – Type ABC based on monoammonium phosphate.
