The Bladder tank together with the ratio controllers form a balanced pressure proportioning system used to mix water and fire foam concentrate to produce an effective extinguishing medium.

The Bladder Type Foam Proportioning Unit is a self-contained foam proportioning unit used to inject foam concentrate into the fire water stream, covering a wide flow and pressure range.

Units are available in capacities ranging from 25 to 4000 gallons, in vertical and horizontal mounting configurations.

Foam vessel dimensions may be subject to change based on design modifications. The unit consists of a foam vessel, foam bladder, foam proportioner, interconnected piping and valves, as well as concentrate level gauges.

English: NOTE: The foam bladder is UL listed for use with AFFF and AR-AFFF foam concentrates. The foam container is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME Sec. VIII Div. I. It is made of nylon reinforced nitrile rubber which is secured within the foam bladder. The inlet of the foam proportioner is connected to the fire water supply and the outlet of the foam proportioner is connected to the foam solution delivery line.
